yay bear!

Every month our school picks an admirable character trait to focus on and at the end of each month awards a student from each class who displays that specific trait on a regular basis.  This month's trait was RESPECT and Basil was given this award.

This is what his teacher had to say about Basil:
"Basil is an excellent model for respect.  He uses polite words when speaking with adults and students alike.  He stays on-task in class, demonstrating respect for his teachers and the other students around him.  Basil also shows respect by following directions.  I don't have to repeat myself for Basil.  He listens the first time and does what he is asked to do.  Thank you, Basil, for making our campus a better place."
