a few days of rest

We were able to get away for a few days at the beginning of April.  As always, it was bEE-UU-tiful over there and so relaxing.

North of San Simeon is the beach the Elephant Seals make their home for awhile to birth their little ones.  We caught the end of this season and saw a few of the ones left on the beach.  Note, I said a few...apparently, this is only about a fourth of the number of seals that were there about a month earlier.  JEE-MA-NEE!
